How to Get a Vaccine

Everyone over age 5 is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Find out how to get a vaccine in LA County.

Vaccine Distribution Information

Everyone older than 6 months is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine in LA County. Child care providers and ECE professionals continue to be a priority to receive vaccinations.

How do I get vaccinated?

  • There are hundreds of locations giving vaccines in LA County.
  • You can receive a vaccination through your healthcare provider or at a clinic. Many drug stores and grocery stores are also giving vaccines.

How to make an appointment:

To make an appointment online, please go to VaccinateLACounty.com.

Follow the steps to find an appointment. If you can’t find an appointment right away, check back often! New appointments are being added as LA County receives more vaccines.

Residents with disabilities or without computer access can call 833-540-0473 between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm 7 days a week for assistance with appointments.

What documentation is required?

  1. Photo ID (does not have to be government issued.)
  2. Proof of age
You do not need to show government issued ID and you do not need to be a US citizen to get a vaccine. One document may meet more than one requirement (e.g. a driving license).
 
The COVID-19 Vaccine is free to all eligible persons. Immigration status and insurance are not required.

Please remember, there are many people trying to get vaccines. It may be hard to get an appointment right away. If you have trouble getting an appointment, please be patient and keep trying.
